Know what punishment awaits you for your sins
It is believed that every human has to pay for all his sins. According to our scriptures, the person has to pay for his deed either in this world or after death. But good and bad deeds may mean different for everyone. Some may consider certain deeds as bad while others may find it completely acceptable.
But, if a person who commits deeds that are considered sins according to scriptures he/she is punished after death. Garuda purana has the list of these sins and punishments to the sinners.
Garuda Purana contains details of life after death, funeral rites and the metaphysics of reincarnation. Its first part contains a dialog between Vishnu and Garuda, the King of Birds
